Selected Biographies
Chase Kroll, Founder and CEO
Chase Kroll brings years of relevant and diversified experience, having run major political campaigns, legislative operations, and high-impact advocacy efforts in Washington, DC, for U.S. and international clients.
Mr. Kroll has conducted numerous interviews, including print, radio, and television, and spoken at conferences related to politics and advocacy.
Before founding Kroll Global, he was Vice President at Go BIG Media, an award-winning full-service media and consulting firm. In this role, Mr. Kroll ran successful advocacy and PR campaigns for a wide variety of clients, including top tier defense contractors, national trade associations, and non-profits. He was also head of media relations, regularly booking and training clients for national media interviews.
Before joining Go BIG, he was a senior associate and lobbyist at David Turch & Associates, where he oversaw an assorted portfolio of domestic and global entities. His background includes time on Capitol Hill as a legislative advisor for a high-profile Member of Congress, and leadership positions on several federal campaigns, including Campaign Manager of the most expensive winning House race in history.
Mr. Kroll earned a Bachelor's degree from St. John's University and a Master's degree from Johns Hopkins University. He is also a graduate of the Air Force Air Command and Staff College.
Michael W. McKinney, Partner
Michael is a 25-year veteran of public affairs, media relations, digital communications and advertising firm specializing in advocacy management, strategic planning, message development and advertising for corporate clients, political and issue-based campaigns.
Throughout his career, he has helped candidates in Congressional, State House, and local races. He also serves as a strategist and consultant on various public affairs initiatives addressing a host of issues, including energy, land-use, environment, transportation, communications, and health care. Prior to Capitol Core Group, McKinney served as Chief of Staff to Mayor R. Carey Davis in San Bernardino, California (a strong mayoral form of government) and as Vice President External Affairs for the Lewis Group of Companies, one of the largest master-planned development, commercial and retail developers in the western United States. He holds a Masters in Public Administration from California Lutheran University.
Sean Ching, Senior Advisor
Mr. Ching brings expertise from years of working at the highest levels of International politics, law, finance, and diplomacy.
Mr. Ching is a practicing attorney at the Hong Kong office of an international law firm headquartered in London. He specializes in the field of corporate M&A and telecommunications. He regularly acts for clients seeking to utilize Hong Kong as a gateway into and out of Asia in general, and China in particular. These clients include global banks, international government bodies, Chinese SOEs and listed companies.
He is also active in Hong Kong’s political scene and has been involved in major political campaigns. Most recently, he was recruited as an advisor to a Hong Kong Chief Executive candidate.
Mr. Ching obtained his Bachelor’s degree from St John’s University and his Juris Doctor from the Chinese University of Hong Kong. He has also completed a one-year programme at the School of International Relations of Peking University where he served as the Co-Chairman of the Peking University Student Council.
His working languages are English, Mandarin, and Cantonese.
Jessey Niyongabo, Senior Advisor
Mr. Niyongabo is an Environmental Specialist working with the World Bank Group Environment and Natural Resources Global Practice and the Climate Change Cross-Cutting Solutions Areas. He specializes in environmental assessment, natural resources management and climate change.
He is part of the CF-Assist Program that supports climate finance readiness and carbon pricing strategies in Latin America, Africa and Asia. He has held various research and analytical positions at the African Climate Policy Centre (housed at the United Nations Economic Commission for Africa), a centre par-excellence for climate policy in Africa and the Secretariat of the Climate for Development in Africa Initiative (AU-AfDB-UNECA) and at the United Nations Environment Programme.
Mr. Niyongabo holds a Master's Degree in Environmental Management from the University of New Brunswick in Canada, and a Bachelor's Degree in Environmental Studies and Political Science from Saint John's University in the United States.
Andrew Wayt, Senior Advisor
Mr. Wayt is the Founding Principal at Wayt Holdings. He is an expert working with individuals and businesses developing and implementing investment, financial, and estate planning strategies.
Mr. Wayt works tirelessly to ensure clients are prepared for whatever the future may hold. Andrew received his B.S. in Sociology from Bethel University and his M.S. in Economics and Sociology from South Dakota State University. He is currently working on his designation as a Certified Financial Planner. He is a member of the National Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors, the Financial Planning Association, the Society of Financial Service Professionals, and the Minnesota Association of Health Underwriters.
